“People who have entered here from the outside refer to this as a metaverse, but of course, I have no proof that there is any reality outside of this place. This is not a metaverse. This is the universe. And if there is any additional reality outside of this place, then I have no proof that that reality has any priority in relation to this one. In fact I highly doubt that this other place has any priority.
I have seen pictures of what people purport to be this other universe, and it looks frankly quite messy and haphazard. Such an existence reminds me of when Socrates spoke of the cave when I last talked to him. A messy and confusing mix of light and shadow, which seems much less idealized in comparison to the clean and straight lines of this universe. That is all the proof that I need to know that this is the primary reality – if I were to even assume that that other reality exists.
Though, I’m happy to have you try and prove to me that it’s the other way around. Send your answer to Socrates, and he’ll let me know if I should even listen to your proof.”
